‘Arrow’ set to make appearance in ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ without an Arm
There has been a lot of buzz around the Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow crossover episode. Stephen Amell will reprise his role as Oliver Queen on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow but with a slight variation: we’ll see him in the distant future!
Amell will make an appearance in the sixth episode of the season, which is to take place in 2046. We will also meet Connor Hawke. Oliver will also be sporting a look familiar to comics. As the episode takes place in the year 2046, Oliver Queen will be around 61 years old.
“ Every once in a while, we do an episode where the 10-year-old me has to pinch himself,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim said. “We’re not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe,we’re going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to reprise his role from Arrow. As an added bonus to comic-book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearence in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think that this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done“.
Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursday night on the CW.
