So, we finally get the official dates and name of the Victorian special episode of the World’s Favorite Detective. Sherlock will premiere on Friday,1st Jan,2016 and the episode is titled as Sherlock: The Abominable Bride. It’e been a long wait, while we had already revealed on our website the arrival of  Victorian Special Episode  during the holiday but now now BBC has confirmed the dates. In the episode, Watson and Holmes will dawn the 19th century avatar, something that have been deep rooted in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Books.

 

Here’s the Victorian special official synopsis courtesy of PBS: “Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) and Martin Freeman (The Hobbit) return as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in the acclaimed modern retelling of Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic stories. But now our heroes find themselves in 1890s London. Beloved characters Mary Morstan (played by Amanda Abbington), Inspector Lestrade (Rupert Graves) and Mrs. Hudson (Una Stubbs) also turn up at 221b Baker Street.”
